Happy MANI MONDAY!

Now that spring has FINALLY decided to show up, it’s pedicure time!

If you’re from the Midwest/East coast, you know our poor feet have been in hiding for the past 6 months and deserve a little spa treatment to gets this flip flop wearing weather started!

So, I will take you step by step about what happens at a pedicure and why it’s important for your feet grooming!

First things first, Show up with flip flops. You don’t want to ruin a perfectly fresh pedi because you wore closed toed shoes and now they are all smudged!

Step #1

Step #1

You will sit in a very comfortable chair that more often than not is a massage chair! Yes! I told you this is a spa treatment! Your feet will be placed in a large tub where you will soak your feet with warm water and small jets that will help get your feet soft and ready for some grooming.

Plus, it feels so relaxing.

Step #2

Step #2

Next, the manicurist will remove any old nail polish that you might have on your toenails.

Step #3

Step #3

Manicurist will file and shape your nails to your desired look.

Step #4

Step #4

A cuticle pusher will be used in order to get rid of any excess cuticles. This is such an important step and sometimes overlooked by many.  Cleaning and removing extra cuticles makes your nails look extra healthy!

Step #5

Step #5

These small clippers are used to clip away the cuticles that were pushed down.

Step #6

Step #6

This is probably the least favorite step. If you’re a ticklish person, you will not like this step. This step removes any callus and really cleans the skin on your feet. When it’s done, your feet will feel so soft and look great!

Step #7

Step #7

THE BEST PART OF GETTING A PEDICURE!

Massage! Do I say more?!
