Happy MANI MONDAY! And welcome to my very first blog post! I’m so excited to share my nail polish collection with you every Monday! Today I’m reviewing Essie’s Resort Collection for spring 2016.

The collection was influenced by the magnificent fashion, diverse culture and sheer beauty of India. With names like, nama-stay the night and going guru, who wouldn’t want to try out these gorgeous colors?

First, I would like to say that every single color is so opaque, you could easily get away with just one coat. Personally, I’m a two coat kind of gal, no matter how opaque a color is. So here is my review of 2 coats each per polish:

Delhi Dance

Delhi Dance

Essie’s delhi dance is described as silky sari pink. This color applied so nice. Like I said, you could apply one coat and you would be good to go! There were no streaks and it dried smoothly as well. I highly recommend adding this to your collection…on top of being just a beautiful color; it also makes your fingers/toes look tan! This is always a plus!

Nama-Stay The Night

Nama-Stay The Night

As a yogi, I love the name of this color! Nama-stay is described as an energetic Goa blue. It is extremely opaque and applies perfectly!

Going Guru

Going Guru

Mint green is my absolute favorite spring color and I have been anxiously waiting to wear it! Essie’s going guru is described as a meditative mint lime. I truly love this color. It applied very opaque and smooth. It’s a more toned down mint green than what I’m used too, but equally as nice!

Taj-Ma-Haul

Taj-Ma-Haul

Essie’s taj-ma-haul is described as spicy marigold apricot. Personally, this is my least favorite color in the collection. But if you are someone who doesn’t like to wear bright colors on your nails, but still want to wear colors of the season, this would be a great color for you! This color also applied opaque in one coat!
